2 - Scope of Application

These Terms and Conditions of Sale define the contractual rights and obligations between Am Stram Bag and any individual customer placing an order via the website www.amstrambag.com, operated on the PrestaShop platform and hosted by OVH, or during a direct sale.

They apply, without restriction or reservation, to all product sales offered by Am Stram Bag, as described in Article 3.

They are complemented by the Privacy and Data Protection Policy, which customers are also encouraged to review. These documents form the contractual framework governing the relationship between the parties.

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges having read and accepted these terms without reservation.

Any order placed on the site or directly implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Sale, which take precedence over any other document unless explicitly waived in writing by Am Stram Bag.

3 - Products

Am Stram Bag offers for sale:

  • customizable bags, clutches, and accessories

  • interchangeable flaps and straps

  • each element available separately for full personalization

Products are made in small series based on available materials and are generally in stock. However, in case of fabric or material shortage, production may be postponed until restocking, which could extend delivery times.

Product descriptions (photos, colors, dimensions) are presented as accurately as possible. However, slight variations may occur due to the handcrafted nature of the products and screen display differences.


3.1 - Limitation of Liability:

Am Stram Bag shall not be held liable:

  • for misuse or misappropriation of the product by the customer

  • for material, immaterial, or bodily damage resulting from improper use, lack of maintenance, or unauthorized handling

  • for any minor technical or aesthetic changes made by suppliers (buckles, fabrics, etc.), as long as the product's overall functionality remains unaffected

The customer is responsible for reading all usage instructions and care recommendations provided with the product or on the website. Proper care affects the durability of the product.

4 - Prices

Prices shown on the site are in euros, tax included (VAT not applicable – article 293 B of the French General Tax Code, micro-enterprise status).
Shipping fees are shown separately in the cart based on the carrier and package weight.

Am Stram Bag reserves the right to change prices at any time. Products are invoiced at the rate in effect at the time the order is confirmed.

5 - Orders and Payment

Orders can be placed on www.amstrambag.com.
Before final validation, customers can review and modify their order (products, quantities, prices, delivery methods) via the shopping cart.

By clicking “Confirm and Pay,” the customer:

  • confirms having read and accepted these Terms and Conditions

  • approves the order details

  • finalizes the order through payment

Orders are deemed placed by and for the customer, regardless of the delivery location.

Accepted payment methods:

  • Credit card (via Stripe)

  • Apple Pay

  • Google Pay

Full payment is required at the time of order. No deposits or deferred payments are accepted.

The customer guarantees they are authorized to use the selected payment method and that sufficient funds are available to cover the order and shipping costs.


5.1 - Payment Security:

The www.amstrambag.com site is protected by an SSL certificate (HTTPS) ensuring secure data transfer between the customer’s browser and the server.

Payments are processed by Stripe, a secure solution certified to PCI-DSS standards. All payment data is encrypted and handled directly by Stripe.

Am Stram Bag neither stores nor has access to any customer banking information.

5.2 - Security and Disputes:

In the event of non-compliance with these terms, including fraud, attempted fraud, or payment incidents, Am Stram Bag reserves the right to:

  • temporarily or permanently suspend access to the service

  • terminate the customer’s account

  • refuse any future orders from a customer with a previous payment dispute

6 - Delivery

6.1 - Delivery Location and Conditions:

  • Only one delivery address is allowed per order

  • After payment confirmation, Am Stram Bag commits to handing the order over to the selected carrier

  • Shipments are made Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays

  • Delivery is available in mainland France and the following EU countries: Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal

6.2 - Delivery Times and Responsibility:

  • Delivery times depend on the selected carrier (Colissimo, Mondial Relay, or Chronopost)

  • Am Stram Bag cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the carrier, force majeure, or any external circumstances

  • No compensation, price reduction, or cancellation will be granted due to delivery delays

6.3 - Shipping & Receipt:

  • Products travel at the recipient’s risk once handed to the carrier

  • The customer is fully responsible for the choice of carrier and ensuring proper delivery

  • In case of a damaged package, the customer must:

    • write clear and detailed reservations on the delivery slip (e.g., open packaging, missing/damaged product)

    • confirm the reservations to the carrier by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt within 24 hours

  • Without this, no claims will be accepted by the carrier or by Am Stram Bag.

  • Am Stram Bag shall not be held liable for any loss or damage occurring during transport.

7 - Right of Withdrawal

7.1 - Exercising the Right of Withdrawal:

In accordance with French consumer law (articles L.221-18 and following), customers have 14 days from receipt of the order to withdraw without needing to provide a reason or pay penalties.

This right applies to all Am Stram Bag products, including customizable ones with flaps and straps, as long as they are not made-to-measure or specially requested.

7.2 - Withdrawal Procedure:

Before returning any product, the customer must:

  • notify the intention to withdraw via a return request on their customer account

  • after approval from customer service, download the return form and follow the instructions provided

The product must be returned within 14 days of the withdrawal notice (Article L221-23).

No return will be accepted without prior request.

7.3 - Return Conditions:

  • Return costs are the customer's responsibility

  • Returns must be sent to:

  • The customer is responsible for the return until it reaches Am Stram Bag.

  • No refund will be issued for items lost, stolen, or damaged during return shipping.

  • A tracked and insured shipment is highly recommended

7.4 - Refund:

Once the return is received, Am Stram Bag will:

  • the legal guarantee of conformity

  • the legal guarantee against hidden defects

8 - Warranty

In accordance with applicable laws (articles L.217-3 to L.217-20 of the French Consumer Code and articles 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code), all products are covered by:

  • the legal guarantee of conformity

  • the legal guarantee against hidden defects

Customers have 2 years from receipt of the product to invoke these guarantees, in accordance with legal terms.

8.1 - Product Repairability:

Am Stram Bag products (bags, clutches, flaps, straps) are designed to be repairable.
All buckles, fastenings, and snap systems are removable and replaceable, subject to part availability.
Zippers are not covered under warranty.

In case of an issue with a buckle or fastening:

  • The customer may request a warranty repair, provided conditions and deadlines are met

  • Shipping costs for repair are at the customer's expense

  • Upon receiving the item, Am Stram Bag will inspect the defect:

    • If under warranty: repair is free of charge (excluding shipping)

    • If not (e.g., misuse, normal wear, damage), a repair quote will be provided. Repairs will only proceed after payment is received

9 - Liability

Am Stram Bag cannot be held responsible for damages due to product misuse or normal wear and tear.

The seller is not liable for delivery delays or failures resulting from force majeure (strikes, severe weather, logistical issues, etc.).

10 - Intellectual Property

All content on the website www.amstrambag.com (photos, texts, bag designs, logos, drawings) is protected by intellectual property law.

11 - Personal Data

Personal data collected is strictly necessary for processing orders and is never shared with third parties.

No marketing emails are sent without explicit consent.

The site complies with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). Customers may exercise their rights (access, correction, deletion) by email at amstrambag@gmail.com.

12 - Mediation & Disputes

n case of dispute, the customer must first contact Am Stram Bag to seek an amicable resolution.

If no agreement is reached, the customer may contact the free mediation service:

13 - Governing Law

These terms are governed by French law.

In case of dispute, the competent court will be that of the defendant’s residence.
